A little embarassed...

by the fact that it has been months since I've posted on my blog. I guess you could say life has gotten in the way. Between tax season, two kids, working FT, and trying to enjoy myself...well the blog and everything else that isn't necessary kinda got neglected ;0)
Soooo now that things have settled down, I plan to revamp the blog...give it a face lift and try my hand at actually creating and posting regularly...wish me luck!

A Whole Month!

Wow it's been whole month since my last post... boy do I feel lazy. Not really - I feel tired! Too much going on. Happy New Year everyone - can't believe it's 2009 already. Geez where did the time go? My little guy will be a year old soon and it's tax season again. Sooooo that means all the fun things in life start to go by the wayside so I can make a little cash.
Sorry to have neglected everyone for awhile - thanks to the ladies who still have made comments on the blog - I promise I'll get back into things.
Along with wanting to lose weight this year - oh yeah that's not going well yet! - I'd like to get my schedule organized. I decided I need to make a plan to do one thing each night and actually accomplish it. I'm going to try!
Anyone else have any plans for change this year? Speaking of change... tomorrow we get a new President. I'll be honest I didn't vote for him and nor do I believe in him. But Lord, I hope I am wrong - and I hope that somehow our economy can bounce back. Everyone is struggling and it's getting pretty scary out there!

New Layouts

So where do I begin? Well here are two of the most recent layouts I got completed this weekend. Ian has been sick, then had an allergic reaction to one of the meds, ended up in the ER and I have been home with him for 3 days. I did manage to clean, do laundry and xmas shop! So I am proud to say I am about 96% done!

Getting fired up for the game tomorrow!!! The Steelers could take over 1st place in the NFL! Holy cow that would be sweet! So keep your fingers crossed for me - that is if you're not a Raven's fan ;0)

And last but not least, I needed a new trimmer. The blades on mine were bad, it is not being made anymore that I could find around here so I bought a fiskers at 50% off. I am not really happy with it. It still freys the ends of the cardstock when I cut it - it's okay for regular papers. I'm not too happy and now I don't know what to do! So anyone want to give me some suggestions on yet another trimmer? Oh yeah, it's just a regular blade, not a rotary. Does anyone like the rotary style? Help!

Sweet Victory!

All I am gonna say is that it was an oh so SWEET VICTORY! Steelers 13 - Ravens 9

Loved it! We had friends of Joel's come an watch the game and I had a blast. I jumped up and down in excitement...now I can go to work tomorrow with a huge smile on my face and probably end up having my Terrible Towel put in the trash... that's how those Raven fans operate... at least the ones I work with ;0)

Over at Tally we extended the 12 Days of Xmas challenges. I am so far behind at this point I'm just trying to do the ones that really speak to me. Here is one I completed last week...Have a great week. BTW - have I told you I have done virtually NO xmas shopping? YIKES!!!!!
