What a week!

My oldest baby turned 8 this past weekend. Yeah I planned a party, worked really hard to make it fun, spent all day Sunday cleaning, etc...but yet it still hasn't hit me yet his bday was here and went and now he's 8. For some reason 8 just seems like such a big number. Don't know why. 2 weeks til school starts and I'm freaking out too. So much to do and get ready for. It's just been crazy. But in light of everything going on, I got to get this pic snapped of my and my eldest son. Do you think he looks like me? Oh yeah and I sent off my latest DT challenge layout to Kelly for scrapfit! You gals are going to love this challenge...Perhaps I'll get a sneak peek of it up for you tomorrow.

My little man is growing up!

Yes both boys are growing up too fast for me but I've been looking at this picture for a while now and just had to scrap it and write down exactly what I feel when I see it. My baby is getting big!

I don't think I scrap enough with journalling that I want to be meaningful to the person who is seeing/reading it. After all what's the point?

I challenge you to write journalling on your next layout that expresses a little more emotion than just the who, when, where and why. I know you cna do it!
